Raytheon Intelligence & Space is the provider of advanced active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar sensor systems for the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 Aircraft (APG-79(V)1 AESA), USMCs F/A-18 Aircraft (APG-79(V)4 AESA), the U.S. Air Force’s F/A-15 Aircraft (APG-82 AESA), the U.S Air Force’s B-52 Bomber (APG-79), and a Gen 5.X Family of Systems (FOS) set of solutions. The AESA Systems provides the warfighter with the most accurate and timely information available for the network-centric battlefield. The IV& V engineers will work inthe lab and support the development and testing of our advanced radar program and will need to have experience with radar integration and testing including knowledge of working in a secure lab environment as well as knowledge of test equipment like scopes meters and analyzers as well as troubleshooting experience. This requisition is for a Senior Systems engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The applicant will support the generation of test artifacts that support the verification requirements identified in DOORS. The applicant may be asked to support tasks as varied as Radar SIL testing, qualification testing, flight testing, customer demonstrations, Transition-to-Production (T2P), etc. The test engineer will work closely with the IPTL and other team leads and will be responsible for specific activities and progress on those activities will be monitored and tracked. The F/A-18 & Global Strike Radar Department supports the development of new capabilities and testing may involve weekend or non-standard shift support.The Systems Engineering (SE) organization is seeking engineering leaders committed and passionate about creating innovative and cost-effective Verification and Validation solutions.The activities and requirements in this job include:Provide RSIL support during the radar system OFP development, and associated verification testing, regression testing, radar system qualification testing and flight testing.Work closely with engineering functional and technical management to ensure on-time deliveries.Experience with troubleshooting and use of test equipmentExperience originating Systems Test plans and procedures for I& T, V&V, and unit/module procedures for Special Test Equipment (STE) for Transition-to-ProductionExperience with lab processes, hardware testing, hardware module/unit/system Qualification and TestPerforms system testing, test reporting, updating of test procedures and generation of sell-off reports. Supports technical solution characterization, and reviews/contributes to technical resolutions. Supports System, Software, Test Equipment operation. Knowledgeable in systems engineering and IV& V engineering principles.
