RPA Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an RPA Developer in Los Angeles, CA.

Summary:
The RPA Developer/Business Analyst will be expected to have strong technical acumen, and knowledge of the RPA/IA product being utilized, in order to iteratively demonstrate proof of concepts, and to understand their business strategy and objectives, current business processes and challenges, and how information flows and changes through the business.

The RPS Developer/Business Analyst is responsible for driving and facilitating process automation. They will work with Strategy functions to leverage automation to improve and modify existing processes. They will also work with I.T. Team to support ERP system, business application and report development, and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. The RPA Developer/Business Analyst will champion the automation program and drive changes across all functions.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Process Mining – Gather requirements by conducting discovery sessions with business owners
  • Design and implement changes to automations that yield higher performance and resiliency while achieving lower operations overhead
  • Own the delivery of automations and serve as a technical lead: Code, test, debug, implement, and document Process Automation (Lifecycle); Develop and maintain funnel of projects for robotic process automation; Lead Programmer on implementation projects; Maintain and Support Process Automation ‘Robot/Development’ uptime
  • Roll out automation programs with demonstrable benefits

ERP System Support (QAD/Progress DB Preferred):

  • Support and train users by providing directions, corrections. and enhancements; Communicate with users to find solution to case
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to provide coaching on system use, recommend changes and automation to improve efficiency

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study similar to Business Administration or Finance
  • 4 or more years of business analysis experience
  • 4 or more years of computer programming experience (RPA, VB+, PHP)
  • Experience with change management/cross-functional relationship with respect to people, processes, and automation technologies
  • Experience with at least one software development methodology required like UiPath, Blue Prism, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, etc.
  • ERP development and support experience (QAD Preferred)
  • Previous relevant experience in business process re-engineering
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Experience with manufacturing/supply chain environment (preferred)
  • Experience with RPA Governance/Controls
  • RPA programming
  • Code, test, debug, implement, and document Automation programs
  • Process assessment experience for end-to-end process automation
  • Ability to collaborate with team leads to identify gaps and constraints associated with business requirements and process and aid in providing solutions to resolve the process issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to operate across the business and in different environments and cultures
  • Team oriented

  • Strong Manufacturing/Supply Chain knowledge
  • SDFC (Salesforce Administration and Development)
  • Manufacturing/Supply Chain experience
  • SFDC (Salesforce.com development and administration)
