Summary: Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient’s rights.
Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS License: RN in the state of KY Additional Info: The hospital is a an 80 bed acute care hospital that is Joint Commission Accredited.
The Cath Lab is the newest service line at the hospital and opened end of last year.

Currently, they have 4 holding beds and 1 procedure room.
We have 5 RN’s on staff and typically see 2-5 cases a day.
The manager would like someone with critical care experience and has to take on call.
The position is: Shifts are 10 hour shifts 4 days per week and the person will take 12 on call days a month.
The range is $29.20hr-$43.80hr and depends on experience.
