Kiira Health’s virtual clinic is revolutionizing women’s health for young women, starting with colleges and universities. Kiira’s HIPAA compliant platform consists of a mobile app and web dashboard. The app seamlessly connects users to trusted clinicians including Primary Care Physicians, OB/GYN’s, Mental Health Experts/Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, and more via phone, video, and chat.

YOUR ROLE:
As a full-stack engineer at Kiira, you’ll be key in the continued development and expansion of our core software platform and in the launch of next-generation technologies designed to revolutionize the virtual health industry. This position has responsibilities encompassing our full tech stack, from technical infrastructure reliability to the development of new innovative features. You’ll participate in all stages of development and collaborate with our senior leadership team to solve problems and build innovative solutions.
- Work as part of a small team to build React Native iOS / Android applications for Kiira Health.
- Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code.
- Work closely with designers to understand and code beautiful designs
- Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
- Integrate third-party API’s.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores.
- Work with native modules when required.
- Work as part of a small team, which will include our Chief Technology Officer, QA Engineer and our UX/UI Designer.
- Be comfortable working in an agile environment (including reviews and standups)
- Assist with building estimates.
- Interface with Kiira health team via Slack, Zoom, and email.
- Track your time throughout the day using Toggle.
- Work with modern tools including Firebase, Jira, Slack, GitHub, Google Docs, etc.
- Follow Kiira Health’s detailed development process
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 2+ years of professional experience with React/React Native.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them.
- Experience with building apps in Git repositories.
- A positive mindset and can-do attitude.
- Forensic attention to detail.
- English skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken english).
- An ability to consistently work 40 hours per week.
- The ability to take extreme ownership over your work. Every day is a challenge to ensure you are performing to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon, both in regards to estimates and to the general process.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Experience working with Swift, Objective C, or Java a plus but not required.
- Experience with release management software such as App Center, TestFlight, etc…
- Meaningful experience working on large, complex projects.
- Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of React Native applications.
