– Remote with a prestigious health system.(br /((br /((strong(Job Details(/strong((br /((br /(NO CORP TO CORP CONTRACTORS AT THIS TIME(br /((br /(Under the direction of the Technical Manager of Educational Technology Services (ETS) and as a member of the DGIT, the Educational Technologist (ET) is responsible for new and ongoing application development and the integration of enterprise services.
The Educational Technologist will be a core member of the software development initiatives of ETS and will contribute towards building enhancing the technology framework of the education mission.
The ET ensures that the services and tools used by the business partners and stakeholders are developed in an enterprise, adequately represented, clearly documented, communicated and successfully implemented for new and going initiatives.
He/she will ensure that services and projects in practices.
he educational technology arena are well managed and adhere to appropriate standards for scalability, maintainability and engineering best He/she will additionally provide support to special projects encompassing a wide range of educational te chronologies and services as needed.
(br /(DUTIES AND TASKS A .
Application Development 1.
Digital Learning Environment and Web/Mobile Application Development a.
Using agile development methodologies, participate in the development initiatives of t ETS initiatives.
b.
Work with DevOps group to develop and follow best practices for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and automation.
2.
Testing frameworks for Unit, Integration and Functional testing 3.
Ongoing maintenance and feature development of existing applications B.
Innovation he 1.
Explore and introduce to the team areas of technical innovation as they pertain to software development practices, analytics, or new and emerging technologies relevant to the domain of teaching and learning in Health Sciences.
C.
IT process, governance and infrastructure 1.
Patriciate in the development of mature IT process development and project management.
2.
Collaborate with infrastructure and networking teams to ensure highly available and fault tolerant application architecture.
