Programmer Analyst

Overview:

Jada Systems is looking for a Programmer Analyst, to support an exciting task for the City of Los Angeles.

Scope of Work:

1) Collaborate with business users and/or internal teams to understand user needs.
2) Provide production support for existing web applications, ServiceNow applications, SSRS
reports, PowerBI dashboards, ServiceNow dashboards
3) Provide production support for scheduled jobs
4) Troubleshoot and update existing applications to fix bugs/defects and/or improve performance
5) Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
6) Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
7) Create new custom reports and SSRS reports/PowerBI dashboards, and ServiceNow
reports/dashboards
8) Perform business and data analysis
9) Write requirements document and create process flowchart
10) Write user guides and technical design documents
11) Prepare training material and conduct users training

Required Skill Sets/Qualifications
1) Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Computer Science,
Information Systems, or a major in a closely related field
2) Experience with software maintenance or development is a plus
3) Experience with software quality assurance is a plus
4) Possess good written and verbal communication
5) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
6) Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
7) Have good time management
8) Ability to multi-task

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
