What you get to do every day – Trains and assists end users and other partner groups for a particular application, system or process, on an ongoing basis – Evaluates and records problems. Collaborates with other programmers to fix issues with code – Evaluates methods of processing. Makes suggestions for improvements – Build and test programming changes for each phase of systems development prior to implementation. Writes test cases and expected results. Reviews results for conformance to requirements. May plan simple tests or a defined subset of a larger system test. May make recommendations for acceptancerejection if requirements are not all met – Reviews user requests for changes or improvements to systems. Records functional requirements and analyzes cost, feasibility and utility. Makes suggestions regarding how, when and whether to make the changes – Provides guidance for internal clients on applications, systems andor processes for identifying and resolving, processingreporting problems with programming.
