Private LTE Wireless Project Manager – Networks, Integration, & Automation (Multiple Locations)

**Description**Burns & McDonnell is seeking a national wireless Project Manager and construction leader to support multiple large-scale private LTE projects for utility clients. As a Project Manager supporting wireless construction projects on our team, this position will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of several projects nationally, as well as supporting the further development of the construction practice for our business. Our rapidly growing team needs a Project Manager to support delivering ongoing project workload and development of new projects and opportunities. A deep understanding of the construction of wireless cell sites and associate supporting infrastructure, an entrepreneurial spirit, and strong leadership abilities are required.The right candidate will have the opportunity to work internally and externally to develop a nationwide supply chain, business processes, and procedures related to the construction of wireless facilities. They will also have the opportunity to help new and existing client portfolios deploy large-scale 4G and 5G networks. Additionally, this position will have the opportunity to support our wider Networks, Integration, and Automation (NIA) practice and telecommunications related sector, including the oversight of enterprise communication network deployments, transport and backhaul systems, microwave, fiber and infrastructure projects, grid automation systems, and the integration of intelligent devices.As Project Manager of wireless construction projects, this individual will manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of work related to the engineering, procurement and construction activities of multiple greenfield and brownfield projects at wireless communications sites and coordinate with safety and field supervisors for contractor oversight. You will work closely with and support Burns & McDonnell’s Construction Design Build (CDB) practice in successfully completing projects within specified dates while establishing and maintaining a professional and satisfactory relationship with client’s, subcontractors, partners, suppliers, agencies, and other project stakeholders.Primary responsibilities for this role will include:+ Lead the development of a supply chain and supplier base, including identifying and partnering with diverse vendors for construction activities. Evaluate, engage, and develop an overall nationwide strategic supply chain of partners for products, materials, and services. Develop a management plan and maintain positive and lasting relationships with them on an ongoing basis.+ Establish market competitive commercial model in conjunction with the supply chain to support work winning.+ Work closely with marketing and work winning teams to develop marketing collateral, proposals, and other related efforts relating to key client pursuits.+ Develop business process and procedures requisite with the expectations of the telecom, cellular and utility industry.+ Manage scope, schedule, and budget on 4G/5G cellular network deployment projects, with an emphasis on the deployment phase of the project.+ Work cross-departmentally on leading or supporting construction projects; extract contract language, develop scope, manage budgets, schedules, vendors, site designs, material ordering, progress monitoring, site utility coordination, and closeouts.+ Execute field team operational procedures to validate compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.+ Proactively identify potential risk issues and collaborate with the project team to develop a preventative action plan to address them.+ Provide effective problem resolutions to facilitate improvements between the client/customer and the field team. Mediate client or subcontractor challenges that arise.+ Develop strong relationships with key constituents and work with the site development team to scope and execute projects.+ May be responsible for resource planning based on production, recruitment, performance management, and career development of other construction or private LTE related staff. May also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.+ Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering Management, Engineering, or equivalent degree plus work experience in the wireless site development industry required.+ Minimum of 10 years of work experience in wireless site construction and/or carrier deployment required.+ Strong working knowledge of all aspects of the wireless tower industry, including siting and construction, engineering, zoning, tenant and ground leases, easements, and regulatory compliance.+ Demonstrable knowledge in managing wireless site construction through prior experience with either deployment projects or construction management responsibilities.+ Sound financial analysis and budgeting skills.+ Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.+ Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.+ Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements and deadlines.+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.+ Ability to travel.+ Valid driver’s license required.+ In addition, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company’s vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.EEO/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans**Job** Project Management**Primary Location** US-MO-Kansas City**Other Locations** US-CA-Brea, US-TX-Fort Worth, US-GA-Atlanta, US-TX-Houston, US-TX-Dallas**Schedule:** Full-time**Travel:** Yes, 15 % of the Time**Req ID:** 213482#LI-JN #T
