The COAST/AMP programs has an opening for either a Principal/ Sr. Principal Software Developer Engineer in Redondo Beach, CA
You will have the opportunity to provide key contributions to the success of the transformation of this large scale factory used by Development and O&M software teams.

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Software Engineer level or a Sr. Principal Software Engineer level
Basic Qualifications for Principal Software Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline with 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Current TS with ability to obtain SCI per business requirements
Programming or scripting experience in a Linux environment (C++, Python, Git, Shell, Scripts)
Experience with software development, the software lifecycle, build tools and processes (DevOps, Agile)
Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Software Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline with 9 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 7 years of related experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Current TS with ability to obtain SCI
Programming or scripting experience in a Linux environment (C++, Python, Git, Shell, Scripts)
Experience with software development, the software lifecycle, build tools and processes (DevOps, Agile)
Preferred Qualifications:
Active TS with SCI
Strong communication skills to clearly collaborate on technical approaches and findings while in support of all levels of the Software IPT, Development & O&M teams, Cyber Security, Systems Administration, SWCM Tools and Build teams
Salary Range: $101,400 USD – $152,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $125,800 USD – $188,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
