Job Description
Responsibilities for the Business Intelligence Developer:
Conceptualize and develop dashboards, reports and user interface requirements; .
Understand, identify, acquire, and analyze data from multiple sources to streamline the delivery of information across the enterprise; Effectively communicate and interact with various Department personnel and organizations; and, Developer must be able to work on-site on a regular basis.
Required Skillset:
The business intelligence developer must have extensive experience in Microsoft Power Bl; to understand, identify, acquire, and analyze data from multiple sources to streamline the delivery of information across the enterprise.
The developer should also have experience with Power BI installation, configuration and administration.
Additional qualifications include: Minimum of 5 years of experience; Experience in troubleshooting production issues and data analysis; Strong knowledge of data warehouse design, dimensional modeling and data mining; .
Ability to work with Department personnel in defining report needs and requirements; A team player with strong communication skills; Experience with Power BI data visualization tools, complex reports, dashboards and data modeling; Knowledge of Power BI data querying and modeling capabilities, such as creation of calculated columns, measures, and relationships; Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and remediation capabilities; Thorough implementation of solutions, including data gathering, proof-of-concept, testing, and validation.
