Department Overview A postdoctoral research position is available for a highly motivated individual to study the posttranslational regulation of c-Myc oncoprotein and ribosome biogenesis-associated proteins in cells and in vivo using genetic mouse models.
Our overall goal is to understand molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of the c-Myc oncogenic and the p53 tumor suppressor pathways and their implication in ribosome biogenesis and human cancer.
Multidisciplinary approaches including molecular, cellular and biochemical, and mouse genetic analyses will be used.
