Were looking for a PHP Developer to help our team grow our direct-to-consumer efforts.
Your primary focus will be both Magento & Laravel backend and frontend development.
Youll be involved with maintaining those environments with our internal team and collaborating with outside vendors on various projects.
Youll also be involved with various 3rd party services and integrations.
This position is within our small Brand & Marketing team, but youll be interacting with everyone in the organization from Customer Service to Operations in New York and Wisconsin.
Responsibilities Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules Program and develop fully functional websites and web applications Develop websites and web applications using Laravel, Magento 2, WooCommerce and the latest front-end technologies Work on a variety of projects including, front-end development, back-end development, API integrations, and more Solid understanding of what is technically feasible and make appropriate recommendations based on project risks, timeline, milestones, etc.
Ensure consistency of design and functionality across all major browsers and mobile devices Test and acquire approval of projects prior to launch Provide technical advice to internal team members and clients Write clean, concise code that conforms to modern best practices Provide accurate time estimates for projects Manage tasks within budget and schedule constraints Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines Required Knowledge Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel and/or Magento 2 Web fundamentals: PHP 7, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/LESS Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Comfortable using a Linux command line Responsive design Bonus Knowledge Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks Ecommerce experience with Magento 2 and or custom Laravel platforms Experience using web services to communicate with, or build, APIs Accessibility best practices Requirements Extremely detailed and organized Goal and results-oriented; strong self-management skills Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Ability to proactively take on projects Solid work ethic Strong customer-service orientation by Jobble
