Our established optometric private practice is seeking an intern to assist with our optometric software program. This paid internship not only offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge optometric software but also provides valuable exposure to the day-to-day operations of a private optometric practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and optimizing our optometric software program.
- Work closely with our team to understand and address software-related needs.
- Provide support in integrating the software with our clinical procedures.
- Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of optometric practice, including patient care, appointment scheduling, and record management.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of practice efficiency.
- Engage in learning opportunities to deepen understanding of optometric care and practice management.
Qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate from an Optometry program in California.
- Strong interest in optometry, healthcare technology, and private practice operations.
- Basic understanding of optometric software or eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
