As a full-stack senior engineer in this growth engineering team, you will be part of architecture design & planning, you will write extensible & reusable code, and instrument everything this New Relic.
Adopt the future of observability by building interfaces that improve the visibility of New Relic on marketplaces with key partners.Opportunity to work remotely is available.What You’ll DoEngage in exciting problems as a member of a highly collaborative and encouraging team that discovers and builds solutions together.Join a team that owns its processes and code quality, and works continuously to improve it through mentoring.Create and build scalable, distributed systems with a strong focus in observability, operability, and reliability.Your QualificationsMust-have:2+ years of professional software engineering experience in a team environment with Ruby and 3+ years of overall production level development experience.Experience delivering solutions with experience using modern technologies and design patterns (e.G.
microservices, REST APIs).Strong troubleshooting ability, debugging skills, and clean code principles.Keen interest in distributed system development and cloud deployment.A collaborative working style that includes colleagues in important decisions and leads to shared code ownership.Nice-to-have:Experience with modern tech stacks, including React/Redux, GraphQL APIs, and Snowflake.Familiarity working with AWS cloud platform & services (e.G., RDS, Lambdas).Experience with async message publishing systems like SQS/SNS and Kafka.Experience designing, debugging, and running fault-tolerant large-scale distributed systems.Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
