This role will be primarily focused on supporting all systems that comprise the technical backbone of Premiere Digital.

We are looking for someone who is not only a technical expert but is also a passionate troubleshooter and problem solver.As a Network Engineer at Premiere Digital Services, your primary duties will include maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary.

You will also be working closely with the users of our network in-order to identify potential issues and fix existing problems.

Ideal candidates will need to be highly technical and will work directly with internal and external partners to ensure the high reliability of our services as well as compliance with our company security policies.

You will help evolve and participate in technical research as well as test new technologies to enable continuing innovation to help meet client needs.

We are looking for a team player who balances individual responsibilities, gives and welcomes feedback, and exhibits objectivity and openness to others’ views.Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):Responsibilities:Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurationsPerforming disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.Coordinating computer network access and use.Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system softwareAssisting with the administration and maintenance of Firewalls and other network security hardware and softwareMaintain and troubleshoot wireless network devices and networks.Maintain and manage SDWAN and other interconnectivity between remote locations.Required Skills:In-depth knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems in a networked environmentExperience troubleshooting hardware and software issues working with firewalls, wireless access points, switches and routersDocumentation skills to include creating procedures, user guides, and detailed reportsExperience with Microsoft and Linux servers in an enterprise environmentWorking knowledge and experience with VMWare virtualization technologiesSelf-starter, independent worker, and team playerGood written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, Routing protocolsNetwork security experience and understandingLAN and WAN administration experienceMulti-Site environment administration and support experienceMust be able to multi-task and work well under pressure while meeting project deadlinesQualifications:Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Systems and Network Engineering or related field.Experience working in the Entertainment / Media Industry a plusExperience working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.BenefitsWe offer competitive pay and benefits programs including medical, dental & vision coverage, vacation & sick leave, 401(k), student loan repayment and more!
