Salary 82,000 – 110,000 per year A bit about us We’re a national law firm, seeking a Network Administrator for our Los Angeles office who can grow and eventually take on some or all of the tasks below Why join us? 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Parental leave Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Job Details Responsibilities bull Handle all network hardware and systems design and implementation. bull Manage staff of analysts and engineers who do second tier hardware support and first step hardware setup (unboxing, racking and initial OS installation). bull Handle all configurations of servers, routers, switches, firewalls, WAN acceleration equipment, hardware portals, packet shaping devices, Fatpipe WAN optimization hardware, network KVM hardware and any other network related hardware that comes into the office. bull Design and setup multiple multi-server clusters and the required disk arrays, fibre channel switches and networks. bull Extensive design and configuration of remote technology, including but not limited to, portal management, Citrix, RSA tokens, remote print driver technology, advanced monitoring technology, desktop configuration and policy software, and software compatibility. bull Handle active directory design and implementation across multiple sites. In charge of multi-server Exchange environment, including SPAM and Anti-Virus protection, management and backup. bull Manage administratively multiple SQL servers. bull Assess cloud services for security and service levels and help implement and manage these services when needed. bull Maintain firm network and systems on a daily operational basis. bull Continually monitor network for any cybersecurity issues or threats and mitigate any issues or threats in a timely manner. bull Manage remotely located DR site that includes cross WAN mirroring and real time replication for SQL, File Clusters, and Exchange. bull Manage all network software including iManage Document Management software, Anti-Virus, Desktop Management software, ServerApplication monitoring software, SkypeTeams, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Exchange servers, fax software, Elite accounting software, litigation support software and most other server based software packages. bull Meet with attorneys, office managers and floor coordinators to go over technology plans. bull Help design the build out of a new computer server room from scratch including evaluating fire suppression systems, air systems, rack and cable management systems. bull Coordinate and manage staff and training recommendations. bull Make recommendations and help in the future budget planning for future IT growth and planning. bull Participate in on-call rotation duties. bull Should have good solid Windows Network experience.
