Network Administrator

*Job Title: *Network Administrator

*Location: *Los Angeles, CA (Commerce)

*Duration: *Full-time Direct Hire

*Remote vs. On-site: *On-site initial to get acclimated. Hybrid set-up after probation period is up. 2 – 3 days remote per week.

**MUST be authorized to work independently on W2. No third-parties, and No sponsorship.*

*Job Qualifications*

* CCNA or higher certification (CCNP preferred).
* A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related to field required or equivalent years of experience.
* 5+ years of working knowledge deploying/maintaining LAN/WAN, MPLS, TACACS+, RADIUS, Wireless, and VPN (flexible).
* Experience with Palo Alto security appliances and Cisco FTD Firewalls (preferred).
* Experience with Cisco Routers, Catalyst switches, Cisco Nexus switches and HP switches.
* Experience with Wireless technologies with Cisco Wireless Controllers (preferred).
* Knowledge and good experience of network security architecture components (e.g. Firewalls, VPNs, ACL, IDS/IPS).
* Experience in virtualization and cloud systems (VMware VSphere, Microsoft, Google Cloud) , (preferred).
* Experience with configuration and monitoring systems like SolarWinds, WhatsUpGold and Cisco DNAC.
* Experience supporting solutions with high availability and real time monitoring.
* Experience building and managing DR environment.
* Good knowledge of routing and switching to implement and maintain network solutions.
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network security protocols. Adept packet capture software and troubleshooting tools when required.

*Current / Upcoming Projects:*

* SD-WAN implementation project
* The newest thing in the Cisco community right now
* CISCO Ice install right now – currently deploying it
* New wireless deployment they are doing next year
* Disaster recovery for wireless, and integration in to new platform they are adding (CISCO controllers)

*Job Scope:*

* Under the supervision of the IT Network Manager, this position is responsible to implement, maintain, and support client’ s growing network infrastructure, including, but not limited to Firewalls, Switches, Routers and monitoring systems.
* Additional responsibilities comprise of racking/cabling equipment and assisting other teams, including, but not limited to, Systems, Security, Clinical Applications, and Data Engineering.
* Installs, maintains, analyzes, fine tune, upgrades and decommission network devices.
* Configure, rack, install and cable various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS).
* Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including IOS upgrades, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
* Provide support for all Business As Usual (BAU) activities within the organization using ticketing tools.
* Ability to actively monitor health of systems using various tools.
* Work with existing change management process to implement changes required in the network.
* Engage and work with third party vendors where required.
* Manage multiple conflicting priorities. Demonstrates flexibility, confidence and capability while operating in a fast-paced environment.
* Utilizes IT Service Management software to track incidents and problems, ensuring tickets are worked on and updated in a timely manner.
* Use monitoring tools to ensure devices are monitored correctly, configurations are backed up and all new IP addressing is up to date within IP Address
* Manager, also system resource utilization, trends, and capacity planning within the network environment.
* Track network purchases to ensure any new equipment is recorded and stored in a secure location.
* Research, analyze, and implement network solutions in a timely fashion with attention to detail.
* Communicates unresolved issues to Network Engineers for escalation when necessary and any other issues as needed.
* Provides excellent customer service and technical support to end-users as needed.
* Perform after hour maintenance and troubleshooting based on business needs.
* Performs all other related duties as assigned

Pay: $80,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
