We are a specialty software systems design company that produces a storage , analysis and reporting tool . We are in the process of redoing our front end and are looking for a full stack developer with strong UI, Azure , C# and front end skills , but who can also work on the back end when needed. You will work with your team to create innovative solutions using a variety of technologies such as Azure, SQL Server Reporting Services, asp.net, and OData. You will have an immediate impact on developed products and take ownership of new software features from initial design to production. Right now we are remote and that looks like the way it will be for the near future . As things get back to normal , the expectation is that we will still be primarily remote, but there may be some need to come into the office occasionally , so we would like candidates to be local to the Twin City area.What You Will Be Doing Design, modify, develop, write, and implement moderately complex software programming components/applications with minimal direction Working primarily on the front end UI design, but also fill in where needed on full stack development Proficiently and reliably program for assigned tasks of medium complexity Work on developing software design proficiency Resolve discrepancies in software applications; investigate field reported discrepancies in the product(s) Comply with good software engineering principles, including but not limited to standardize coding, reviews (code, design), standardized documentation practices, version control, bug tracking, etc. May participate in the testing process by providing input to test procedures, reviewing test procedures, and/or executing tests Plan and accomplish business goals based on experience and judgment Performs a variety of tasks in addition to the essential functions listed above Works under general supervision and other senior/lead engineersWhat You Need for this Position 5-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Experience with C#/.NET.
