Join MUFG and be empowered to make your voice heard and your actions count.Job Summary:The Resource Control Tower (RCT) works with massive data sets, which today mainly exist in Excel.

This requires the team to spend more time on aggregating data, and less time on reporting and analytics.

This role will be responsible for automating much of the back-end resource data RCT leverages, and then creating online Business Intelligence via Tableau and other toolsets, so that key stakeholders can better engage with the data to provide insightful decision making.

An additional requirement is to enable other members of the RCT team to move into more of an analytical role, allowing the team to shift into proactive resource management.Major Responsibilities:Develop ETL processes and reporting solutions to support efforts in improving resource allocation across the enterprise.

Data should be aggregated to provide actionable insight for managers on a periodic and regular basis.

This involves working closely with Resource Managers to design visualizations with applications such as Tableau and ETL processes with such tools as SSIS and PythonHave frequent interaction with various data providers and stakeholders to ensure timely data collection and report productionA robust control environment is paramount to ensure data quality and periodic testing of source data, formulas, and queries to ensure they are working as intended is also a necessary responsibilityData issues should be tracked, and efforts should be made to resolve them with various stakeholdersApplication of data mining principles to optimize project allocation is paramount to pinpoint areas which exhibit constraints and effort should be made increase efficienciesThis is an opportunity in a highly visible role to make an impact by providing resource guidance to senior managementQualifications:A Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceExtensive experience with Visual Studio (primarily SSIS)Development of ETL Packages using various technologiesDevelopment of Tableau Dashboards or similar experience with Business Intelligence Application frameworksProgramming in C#, Python, and Visual Basic or comparable languagesExperience translating Business Requirements into Technical SolutionsAd Hoc analysis to review processes and for Quality ControlThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed.
