Role Responsibilities

*
Develop and maintain the ISO 26262 work products defined by the safety standards to prove compliance of the Safety Case.

*
Experience with HARA and Functional Safety Concept for a complex safety system.

*
Experience in creating detailed Hardware Software Interface specifications. (HSI)

*
Experience deriving technical safety requirements from the Functional Safety Concepts, Technical Safety Concepts, and System Architecture Design.

*
Work with team members to develop IATF 16949 and ISO 26262 Supporting Process Procedures, Instructions, and defining meaningful record collection strategies

*
Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis

*
Work with teams to define the hardware and software architecture using a Functional Block Diagrams and other modeling techniques

*
Identification of potential system misuse and/or function integrity hazards using progressive safety analysis methods (SiUA, STPA).

*
Identification and analysis of system component single point and latent failures of system functions, using inductive and deductive approaches (FMEA, FMEDA, & FTA).

*
Ensure that hardware and software monitoring will detect faults and that a solid safety mechanism response is initiated

*
Experience defining test and validation plans based upon Engineering and Safety Requirements

*
Develop Inspection Instructions and Acceptance Test Plans (ATP) for AI System Installations

*
Support System Integration Validation Testing, Hardware fault injection testing.

Experience & Skills Required

*
Hold a B.S. or higher degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

*
10 years of relevant experience

*
Experience working with suppliers and OEMs regarding safety analysis and requirements

*
Solid knowledge and experience in vehicle architectures and software architecture, including safety architectures.

*
Understand of software simulation, validating software functions, and software safety mechanisms

*
Understanding of software quality concepts and processes (ASPICE)

*
Experience with HARA and Functional Safety Concept for a complex safety system.

*
Experience in creating detailed Hardware Software Interface specifications. (HSI)

*
Experience deriving technical safety requirements from the Functional Safety Concepts, Technical Safety Concepts, and System Architecture Design.

Understanding of C/C++ and related coding standards (e.g. Automotive MISRA or similar)

*
Applied understanding of SOC, AUTOSAR or similar embedded software, algorithms and data structures

*
Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.), and supporting electronic circuits

*
Applied experience Hardware Software Interface analysis

*
Ability to work in a startup business environment and to work respectfully with other teammates

*
Ability to work closely with both software and hardware designers to create new features and solutions

*
Expert in configuration management (hardware, its firmware, serial number, hardware, etc.)

*
Experience with security standards (EAL/CC, SAE J3061)

*
Advance knowledge of computer architectures, low-level device programming and bus interfaces (PCIe, I2C, SPI, etc.), and overlay programming models

*
Hands on experience with FMEA, FMEDA, and FTA

*
Experience with ANSYS Medini Analyse is an added advantage.
