About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Manager of Software Engineering who can contribute to the design and development of Blueprint’s Learning Management System.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to our growth and help provide direction to our organization.
We are seeking a combination of strategic thinking, intellectual curiosity, and high-velocity execution.
This position can be based at our new Los Angeles headquarters or be remote, and will report to the Director, Software Engineering

- Are experienced leading a team, delegating tasks as well as keep the team abreast of the overall system
- Are experienced in web full-stack programming, including web applications, back-end systems, API’s and mobile applications
- Are experienced designing distributed services including micro-services, messaging design and data design
- Are experienced debugging in cloud and distributed systems
- Are a structured, self-directed thinker
– you’re able to proactively tackle new, ambiguous challenges and develop frameworks to support strategic decisions - Are a highly effective communicator and fancy yourself a presentation creation savant
- Have experience in

– the evolving EdTech and/or Test Prep industries - Take your work very seriously, but not yourself
