With the voice of our users to guide us, we create new lines of business and product advancements, taking novel SaaS products and solutions from concept to market. You’ll work in close collaboration with product, engineering, and design partners to build customer-centric solutions, including data processing, API development, complex UX interactions, and novel data visualizations.

What You’ll Do

You will collaborate closely with the team to understand user needs and define implementation plans. Software development will be a mix of solo and small group work. Our primary stack is Spring-based Java services and React UI using the New Relic One SDK, but we use other languages and frameworks when they’re the best fit for a particular need.

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 5+ years fullstack expertise developing high-throughput services in Java and React, or equivalent experience. 10 years strongly preferred.
  • Ability to make technical design decisions based on the unique needs of each project
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets / data structures / APIs to enable highly interactive interfaces.

Nice-to-have:

  • Domain expertise in building and operating web-scale software platforms
  • REST and GraphQL API experience
  • High-throughput streaming data processing; Kafka
  • Familiarity with observability tools / open tracing / modern cloud architectures
  • Understanding of software security best practices for legacy and cloud environments
  • D3 and other data visualization library experience
  • UX and API design
