From designing delightful products with the product management team, to presenting your vision to customer and industry executives, you should be comfortable driving deep technical, business and strategy discussions.nn nn What You Will Be Doing nn Driving Ayla’s architectural direction and technological transformation into data engineering and deep-learning.
Interfacing with our strategic customers and prospects on key challenges and opportunities as we use big data to solve problems.
Implementing hands-on solutions to the team’s most challenging technical problems Working with our Java/Kubernetes microservices, Kafka Event Bus, and Hadoop/Spark Data Lake to build scalable pipelines.
Create new analytics products using machine learning and AI Defining the technologies, priorities, and path forward for the next leg of our architectural evolution Shaping the engineering culture to help the team move faster without breaking things Influencing all areas of the company, our customers and partners, and beyond nn Desired Skills and Experience nn 10+ years of experience in software engineering, building highly scalable systems Direct experience with building pipelines incorporating feature engineering and dimensional reduction techniques for Predictive and Prescriptive analytics.
Ability to technically lead and motivate a team, and to drive engineering process and culture Understanding and application of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development Solid design ability with RESTful and steaming APIs Ability to leverage Cloud infrastructure and services (e.g.
AWS) to create robust platforms Drive to succeed, learn, and grow in a fast-paced environment BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
