Responsibilities Manage engineering and day-to-day direction of a growing iOS team Communicate progress and needs to Product and Leadership teams Architect and build a performant, high fidelity geospatial and social app Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Proactively identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Lead the charge of maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization Skills An expert understanding of Swift, SwiftUI and their design patterns Some familiarity with GraphQL and Mapbox, or similar technologies Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services?
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Instruments Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications Knack for benchmarking and optimization Familiarity with continuous integration Bachelors or higher degree in a science or engineering field
