OverviewIntuit’s Workforce Tech DevOps team is looking for a talented engineer who wants to help enable the Intuit workforce to do the best work of their lives.

We are a small team of engineers that deliver great experiences and have fun while doing it.

We enjoy the challenge that comes with supporting Intuits 9000+ employees, and we are looking for team members that love to learn, are self-directed, and pay attention to the details.What you’ll bringBS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience3-5 years of experience developing web applications and web services.Programming experience with at least one server-side web technology and language like Java, C#, JavaScript (Node.Js), Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.Programming experience in several technologies including: JavaScript, ES6, ESLint, HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, Babel and SASS.Working experience with frameworks and libraries such as Angular JS, React JS, Redux, Backbone JS etc.Understanding of the concepts of machine learning and AI.Hands on experience creating responsive web applications using modern CSS frameworks.Knowledge of JUnit testing and JavaScript Testing frameworks.

Test Driven Development (TDD) experience a plus.Proven experience in software best practices, like test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD and Simple Design ConceptsExperience designing applications that operate on cloud environments like AWSExcellent problem solving skillsAbility to establish priorities and work independently on multiple tasksKnowledge of software development methodologies and practices, especially Agile/Iterative development processesPassion for creating a better user experience through understanding of usability, information architecture, use case development, design/aestheticHow you will leadSuccessful delivery of high quality web, mobile software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)Roughly 80-95% hands-on codingContribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and codeResolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patchesPartner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitmentsWork cross-functionally with various Intuit teams to drive forward resultsCommitment to team success and positive team dynamicsPassion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customersExperience with Agile Development
