The Boeing Company is actively seeking an experienced and motivated product integration engineers in our Herndon Office. In Maritime Undersea we support mission focused programs for a wide variety of customers. We design, develop, deliver, and sustain critical capabilities for our customers and rely on having the best engineering talent available to meet these challenges. Our teams are highly functional and effective across all engineering disciplines and deliver innovative solutions and first-time quality within our programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Define software dominant requirements for development programs
- Review software development products for quality and requirements satisfaction
- Support software development efforts with coding and peer review
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Experience working in Agile Software Development processes
- Experience with DevSecOps tool chains
- Familiarity with Requirements Management Processes
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Knowledge of Verification and Validation methods
Typical Education and Experience:
Associate (Level 2):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Experienced (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Lead (Level 4):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range (Herndon VA- Level 2): $87,550 – $118,450

Summary pay range (Herndon VA- Level 4): $128,350 – $173,650
Summary pay range (Huntington Beach CA- Level 2): $87,550 – $118,450
Summary pay range (Huntington Beach CA- Level 3): $104,550 – $141,450
