Enterprise Applications Developer

Seeking an Enterprise Applications Developer to assist in developing and automating reports and dashboards using Evisions Argos and Oracle SQL Developer, write query reports and ad-hoc reports. Responsibilities include bull Develops and maintains PLSQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and Database Views. bull Uses Oracle PLSQL coding dealing with custom data mapping structures and sets automation of secure files transfer tasks with UnixWindows Scripting. bull Creates complex queries for application database calls. bull Collaborates and provides technical support to individual functional areas (e.g., Financial Services, Payroll, Purchasing, Human Resources, Institutional Advancement and Students Services), including training users on application use, building reports, performing data imports and analysis, troubleshooting Banner System Processes errors and other ERP related issues. bull Maintains Enterprise Applications User Access List and Functional Permissions. bull Applies required patches and upgrades on a regular basis. Performs analysis, testing and troubleshooting to confirm that the upgrades are successful in coordination with the Database Administrator. bull Assists in the maintenance, development, deployment, and support of any processes that interface with college-wide Enterprise System Applications. bull Assists in the maintenance, support, and customizations of the College Dashboard updates site contents, creates new sites, maintains user and content security. Implements Single Sign On (SSO) service to eligible system applications. bull Participates with any research, acceptance testing and implementation of systems modules when needed for new processes, patches, integrations, and upgrades. bull Develops and maintains specific documentation and associated plans for applications maintenance, upgrades, appropriate use, and administration. bull Prepares detailed technical specifications, data reporting requirements, template, design and ensures compliance with data standards and specifications. bull Performs other duties or special projects as required. Required Skills bull Bachelor’s DegreeAssociate’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or any Computer related field with a minimum of 3 years of IT Applications support and development experience. bull Familiarity with any Student Information Systems or other ERP Systems. bull Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, methods, tools. bull Proficiency in using any of the following technologies Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MS Access, IIS, Tomcat WebLogic. bull Good working knowledge of MS operating systems, LINUX, UNIX is a plus. bull Microsoft SharePoint Experience knowledge of Single Sign on Technologies. bull Some web development experience, e.g., PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript is desirable bull Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws (FERPA, PHI, et al). bull Must be highly selfmotivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. bull Must be well organized, be able to prioritize, and keep meticulous records including detailed documentation for technology systems and processes. bull Must have effective interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with culturally diverse populations, college administrators, faculty, staff, students, and the public. bull Must have proven analytical and problemsolving skills. bull Experienced in creating both technical and user manuals for new and existing applications. bull Experienced with designing business-based solutions to support the functions in various business units, preferably in a higher education environment. bull Ability to work independently and as a member of a team in accomplishing tasks. bull Ability to handle multiple, complex, and varied assignments in a timely manner. bull Ability to analyze and interpret data and to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to individuals at all levels of the organization with varying levels of understanding. bull Ability to create and maintain detailed testing plans and associated scripts. bull Ability to conduct research into enterprise systems applications issues and products as required.
