In this role, you will be pivotal in creating engaging and effective educational materials using the latest technologies and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Learning Technology or related fields, with technical expertise in eLearning standards, web development, and multimedia tools. Responsibilities: Develop and manage courses and supporting elements in various formats, such as video, eLearning modules, hands-on labs, and assessments. Create dynamic and customized eLearning courses and multimedia content, including infographics, videos, audio voiceovers, interactive simulations, and animations. Bring innovative approaches and cutting-edge methodologies to learning technology. Collaborate with Instructional Designers to produce highly technical eLearning content using advanced multimedia development tools and programming languages. Ensure adherence to eLearning standards and implement best practices for technical content development. Utilize various development methods to create immersive learning experiences (e.g., JavaScript and other advanced languages/frameworks). Stay updated on emerging technologies and eLearning trends, focusing on quality, leveraging data and AI, building communities, and utilizing video content. Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues related to eLearning content, platforms, and integrations. Provide technical guidance and support to efficiently resolve challenging problems. Monitor the educational website to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines for eLearning. Your Experience: Strong background in curriculum development for technical SaaS products or a combination of software development and curriculum development. 3-5 years of technical curriculum development experience. Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools and multimedia development software, such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Camtasia, Premiere Pro, or other video editing software. Experience developing multimedia content based on experiential, adult-centered learning, and utilizing blended learning and innovative technologies. Passion for creating eLearning and multimedia content while staying current with emerging technologies and trends in eLearning and the tech industry. In-depth knowledge of eLearning standards, including SCORM, AICC, and xAPI. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of Learning Management System configuration and structure. Excellent written, visual design, and verbal communication skills. Consistent track record of delivering quality projects on time. Experience with Agile content development methodology is a plus. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices and the ability to apply them to project work is a plus.
