Modis Burbank is seeking an experienced Database Developer in Los Angeles, CA
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying reporting solutions for our internal clients, interfacing internal data warehouse, and often leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies, in conjunction with our vendors.
Quality is the key, as is an ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into a technical reality that is extendable and maintainable.
Responsible for designing, implementing, testing, maintaining data interfaces/data upload and/or transmissions, reports and analytics i.e., but not limited to
Department of medicine data requests, like census data, drop and returning patients, provider productivity, 104 days report, and operational reports like sales commissions Assist with specific projects such as the CPS data conversion, DOMO and PHD data researches Work on SAP interfaces, monitor weekly jobs, report on errors, provide recommendation for further automation Work on other custom interface / custom integrations (like Active Directory sync) Ensure security, integrity and follow HIPAA guidelines during transmissions.
Accesses multiple medical/financial/administrative databases and provide ongoing reporting that supports information-based decision making, measures the execution of strategy, and identifies opportunities for improving existing processes even for other business lines.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or higher in Computer Science or related disciplines.
A minimum of 7 years’ experiences preferably 4 or more years in Healthcare Services
– Medical Records, Health IT, or Informatics.
Managed Care or Pharmacy data analysis experience preferred, Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer/Software Skills & Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of
Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) like SQL Server 2008 or higher Must have T-SQL deep knowledge, able to write complex codes in T-SQL (like stored procedure, functions, triggers, and views).
Must be proficient in data manipulation, data extraction, merging of large, complex data from variety of sources.
Experience in writing custom reports (with a tool like Tableau or similar).
Saleforce.com/Domo/API experience is a big plus
Job Requirements:
