I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Supports local data science projects, initiatives, and requests in collaboration with local/global MS teams, and other local functions. He/she will also lead digital projects such as creation/maintenance of dashboards. You will be part of the Digital and Data Sciences (DDS) team within the Manufacturing Sciences (MS) organization at the Los Angeles Facility. In addition to supporting local MS data science plans, the other core responsibility of the DDS team is to build the Continued Process Verification CPV) plans for each of our products, and to ensure the manufacturing process for LA products and intermediates remains in a state of control. Statistical expertise is required for developing Continued Process Verification (CPV) plans and helping troubleshoot adverse process trends by data analyses. You will work with the Subject Matter Experts and IT team to develop systems for the trending and analysis of process data. You will solve complex data extraction tasks for analytics projects, and GMP reporting such as Product Quality review (PQR). You will also be responsible for updating Discoverant CPV analysis groups as the manufacturing process changes, and source systems changes. You will report to the senior manager analytics and data science.How you will contribute:You should expect daily variability in tasks and challenges. Primary responsibilities include the following:Manage the respective functional and cross-functional interdependencies accordinglyManage and drive improvements on local process monitoring and process improvementHelp develop and maintain CPV plans, including quarterly reportsPerform data analyses using applicable analytical systemsAddress current issues requiring data analyticsHelp investigate adverse trends and implementing measures to reduce manufacturing risks and variationExpected to learn manufacturing or relevant process knowledge required to build data analytics projects and CPVDevelop /using dashboarding tools such as Qlik or Power BiSupport MVDA programs including SIMCA, etcLead/create Digital/ Agile 4.0 plans using NorthStar systems such as Discoverant.Proficiency in database languages (SQL), understanding of data models and databasesSupport data science teams by data acquisition from multiple information systemsExperienced in using statistical process control, control chart and process capability techniquesExperienced understanding of GxP and related regulations.Understanding of biochemistry or protein separation, plasma protein knowledge preferredManufacturing process knowledge encouragedWhat you bring to Takeda:Typically requires Bachelors’ Degree in science, engineering or another related technical field.4+ years of related experienceCourse work in Data Analytics and Statistics highly recommendedIn general, the position requires mostly sedentary work and some walking around observing conditions in the facility.Mostly office working conditionsMust be able to work in controlled environments requiring special gowning.
