Our performance based approach increases brand awareness and generates targeted audience engagement on our internal web properties and partner sites.nn nnWe are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Data Scientist to lead our efforts to help vastly expand the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities of our platform to grow revenue through machine learning.

You will be empowered to define the measurement strategy, generate data-driven insights into system performance and testing, and provide a sound statistical basis for determining autonomous systems product readiness.nn nnRequirementsnn Hands-on experience of statistical modeling from conceptualization, methodology creation, deployment and validation and ultimately delivering final insightful recommendations.

Robust mathematical skill, with strong working knowledge in some and the ability quickly to be competent in the rest of the gamut of modeling techniques and associated tooling, for examples: Established statistical methods for data reduction (e.g., factor analysis, PCA) and for predictions (e.g., regression, classification); Established machine learning methods for feature extraction (e.g., neural nets), for data reduction (e.g., clustering) and for prediction (e.g., decision trees, graph/network analysis); Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forests, ensembles, etc.

Experience with common data science toolkits, such as sklearn, tensor-flow, keras, gensim, etc and NLP toolkits such as nltk, spacy, etc Experience with data visualisation tools such as D3.js, plotly / seaborn / matplotlib / tensor-board, Tableau, etc Experience with Auto ML Solutions like DataRobot or H2O Driverless AI Proficiency in working with both NoSQL and relational databases such as DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, etc Expert proficiency with statistical modeling tools like SAS, R, Python, etc.

Good scripting and programming skills using Python, bash, etc Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) Master’s or advanced degree with 5+ years experience in CS, Statistics, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics or a related field, PhD a plus.

nnFunctions/Responsibilitiesnn Hire excellent Data science talent, mentor them, and lay a clear growth path for your team Develop new methodologies for digital ad conversion, pacing, and yield.

Improve upon existing methodologies by adding new data sources and implementing model enhancements.

Translate analytical insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement, and communicate your research and insights to all levels of the company, clearly and concisely.

Drive scalable solutions using available AWS infrastructure Create and track accuracy and performance metrics (both technical and business metrics).

Create, enhance, and maintain technical documentation, and present to other scientists, engineers, and business leaders.

Experience instilling a culture of ownership, collaboration, and results.

Drive best practices on the team; mentor and guide junior members to achieve their career growth potential.
