SADA as a Cloud Security Engineer!
Your Mission
As a Cloud Security Engineer at SADA, you will play a key role in managing and supporting SADA’s internal IT Operations and services.
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you should be proficient in all aspects of Cloud Security, including managing identity and access management, defining organizational structure and policies, using Google technologies to provide data protection, reviewing SaaS application configurations, collecting and analyzing Cloud Platform logs, managing incident response processes, and understanding regulatory concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the evaluation of enterprise security technology platforms to inform product or service selection
- Through design review or security testing, identify vulnerabilities and gaps and provide recommendations or directions for remediation
- Consult, advise, or oversee the secure design and configuration requirements of key IT system and infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Prevent IAM sprawl at scale, comply with common security benchmarks, choose and implement SIEM tools, guide automated responses with SOAR tooling, and deep Hands-On-Keyboard (HOK) experience threat hunting through cloud based logging systems
- Participate in the review and implementation of SaaS application security best practices
- Collaborate to prevent, detect, and respond to incidents in traditional and cloud-based infrastructure

Expectations
Daily interaction with a variety of engineers (both local and remote) and other business stakeholders.
When appropriate, leverage internal expertise and experience across SADA as required to support internal IT services.
The Cloud Security Engineer collaborates with the Director of IT, IT Manager, Incident Managers, support staff, and other team members to ensure support and IT service expectations are met.
Training
– Ongoing with first-week orientation at HQ followed by a 90-day onboarding schedule.
Details of the timeline can be shared.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all onboarding will be temporarily conducted remotely.
Job Requirements
Required Credentials:
- BA or BS degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of technology, progressive technology solutions, security architecture, and incident response
- Knowledge and experience across the information security domain, such as endpoint security, SIEM, IDS, identity management, vulnerability management, incident response, and threat intelligence
- Hands-on experience analyzing and responding to security events, such as conducting log analysis, developing queries and analytics, troubleshooting security issues, and correlating diverse data sets
- Experience in developing and implementing security tools and managing infrastructure
- Some experience in system and network administration across multiple platforms and environments to include GCP
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills in Cyber security, including strategy creation
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across multiple organizations, Regions, Sectors, and teams
- Open to being on call for weekends and after hours
Useful Qualifications:
- Experience with Endpoint Management solutions (JAMF Pro, Intune, Google MDM)
- Experience with Google Security Command Center and Chronicle
- Experience with GCP or other cloud providers
- Experience with endpoint security systems (i.e., Crowdstrike)
- Experience with SOCii Type 2 and ISO27001 audits
