Medix’s client is a Medical Device company who develops various medical devices such as drug delivery technologies, visual prostheses, and more.
They are looking for a Desktop Developer to develop desktop software to support software requirements verification for implantable medical devices.
Specifically, they will be populating the PCB board, designing the layout, configuring, and welding it in their software.
Additionally, they will develop production test software and test methods to test medical device PCBAs and finished medical devices.
Day to day Responsibilities:
Desktop software development from concept to production to maintenance Write code in C#/C++ for desktop software Test system with test system qualifications including IQ, PQ, and OQ Work with embedded and firmware development Configure, manage, issues tracking, and troubleshoot medical device software and systems
Education and Experience:
BSCS or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years experience Must have experience with desktop software development from concept to production to maintenance.
Experience with test system qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) is highly desirable.
Experience with embedded / firmware development is a plus.
Must have experience with config.
management, issue tracking, and troubleshooting software and systems.
Must be able to meet deadlines and work in multidisciplinary project teams.
Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Experience with medical device safety and cyber-security is a plus.
