Unique opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer on a growing BI team at an exciting entertainment company based in LA!

THE COMPANY AND TEAM
This rapidly-growing video streaming platform was recently acquired by a massive media conglomerate, and their audience numbers have skyrocketed since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Business Intelligence Developer will play a crucial role in this fast-paced, startup-esque Business Intelligence team working with massive amounts of data.
THE ROLE
Design and implement innovative solutions addressing challenges in data management, analytics and visualization Gather, interpret and analyze business requirements and use cases Design data products that meet use cases/requirements that supports data distribution and self-service capabilities Perform data integration, write efficient SQL Queries, and develop/deploy reporting solutions that apply data visualization standards and best practices, and meets quality standards by performing unit testing Work in a fast-paced Agile environment especially as it pertains to new idea generation Lead data discovery with key stakeholders to analyze data needs and develop strategy for streamlining reporting and data delivery processes
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Business Intelligence Developer will have the following skills and experience:
Developing SQL connector and data extraction solutions with Alteryx is a must Writing/optimizing complex queries in SQL is a must Developing data visualizations/interactive dashboards using Tableau Advanced experience with Tableau Server development and deployment, as well as advanced Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, etc.) to create analytical and complex interactive dashboards is a must Creating detailed design documents for business logic/data product solutions Extensive experience in Software Design, Development, Implementation and Maintenance of Business Intelligence products
The ideal candidate will have commercial experience working with media streaming data (e.g.
video, music).
Experience working in the entertainment industry or with entertainment clients is also acceptable.
THE BENEFITS
The Business Intelligence Developer will be compensated depending on experience for a 6-month contract, with high potential to convert to full-time/salaried employment.
