As a Software Test Engineer, you will be part of Flight Planning Product Development team and will focus on real-time system software verification and validation.

In this position you will develop and maintain the Test artifacts, automate and execute test scripts to ensure quality of Flight Planning products.

The position will place you in a role where you have the opportunity to make a strong impact in the delivery of our product offerings and guide the future of flight planning solutions.

The Flight Planning and Dispatch team offers a collaborative mentoring environment where you have the opportunity to learn from or lead others.Position Responsibilities:Candidate must have experience in software configuration management concepts and processes of managing a software system throughout the testing lifecycleConsult with customers to clarify and refine complex requirementsInterpret and translate requirements into functional test scenarios and scriptsAnalyze and recommend test scenarios and scripts for test automationCreate, maintain and enhances the automated testing frameworkInterpret and translate requirements into functional test scenarios and scriptsAnalyze and recommend test scenarios and scripts for test automationAbility to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environmentAbility to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrentlyInvolved in Requirement Test plan/Design, Peer Reviews and coordinating in Functional testing activities.Involved in Automation Test Planning and Review/Rework of test scripts in Selenium and UFTInvolved in POC, Automation Estimation, Planning, Framework CustomizationTypes of Testing: Manual, Test Automation (GUI and/or API), API Testing.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years experience in Hands on experience in understanding software requirements and Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data.Strong Experience in scripting languages like VB Script (primary), C# or Java and Python (secondary)3+ years of experience in writing Test automation scripts preferably using UFTKnowledge in Database (preferred: Postgres, SQLite)and experience in writing SQLHands-on experience in automation testing within API and windowsapplicationsWorking knowledge in HP ALM Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Tools Worked Test Management tool: HP ALM, Share point, JIRA, Bugzilla, GIT lab, SOAP UI, Selenium RC, Selenium Web Driver, HP ALM, VersionOne.Experience with protocols like, HTTP/SOAP, HTTP/REST, Socket, FTPFunctional experience of product development in Aerospace/Automotive domainKnowledge of Agile development practices required.Knowledge of CICD process tools such as GITLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc.Hands-on experience with SQL Queries, UNIX commandsMust be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible formGood experience on test artifacts, its documentation, reviews Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.).
