Boeing is seeking aLead Real Time Software Engineer to work in their Seal Beach, CA location.

Position Responsibilities:Address all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements and interface definition, design, development, and integration of embedded software for space-based applications, and product maintenance.Be responsible for several parallel tasks as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team of systems and software engineers.Join and participate in improvements to our modern Agile culture.

This position allows telecommuting.

The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.

Security Clearance for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S.

Citizenship.

A final Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S.

Citizenship required) is required post start.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Previous experience developing embedded software in C/C++.Previous experience with Unix/Linux.Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degreePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Previous experience leading projects or teams.Previous technical experience in an aerospace environment.Self-motivated problem solver, capable of taking initiative with minimal instruction.Able to problem solve in a clear and concise manner.Possesses strong communication skills.Previous experience with Agile and DevSecOps.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
