This position is located in Long Beach, California.
Position Responsibilities:Acquires information from internal and external sources on existing production system and future production system improvementsPerform analysis on the production system, supplier base, and processesPerform aircraft level trade studies as part of an multidisciplinary conceptual aircraft design teamPerform analysis on cost as an independent variable (CAIV) for both recurring and nonrecurring costPresent findings to leadership The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.
§ 120.15 is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Systems thinking experienceModel development experienceTrade study experienceManufacturing processes experienceAbility to communicate with diverse audiences Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Industrial assembly processesExperience with aircraft production systemsKnowledge of aircraft certification requirementsFamiliarity with MS Project and Microsoft Business Intelligence toolsFamiliarity with data visualization tools including PowerPivot or TableauComfortable presenting to senior leadership up to the executive level Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.
Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.
Master).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
