POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Intermediate to Senior Backend Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the rest of the team to maintain and grow features in customer-facing and internal-use web applications. This work will range from building reusable React components to implementing contextual flows to consuming GraphQL APIs.
- Programmatic media expert with over 9 years in the marketing field on the client side as well as agency
- Maintain and develop a current website built off of GatsbyJS/ReactJS
- Maintain headless CMS (GraphCMS) and create various content models for the content team.
- Build robust and scalable backend applications/cloud functions via Firebase.
- Collaborate with the product team in an agile environment to break down requirements, plan, and estimate tasks.
- Drive quality by writing effective unit, integration, and functional tests for high availability systems and libraries.
- Effectively collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and other internal groups (technical and non-technical).
- Strong understanding of client/server applications, i.e., ReactJS and NodeJS
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to debug code (their own code and code created by others)
- Genuine interest in overall web standards and best practices such as OOCSS, BEM, SMACSS.
