You will work closely with technical architects and engineers to define and implement reliable, scalable and secure software services that power web, mobile and OTT offerings.
You will enrich our customer experience through features like content delivery, live streaming, video on demand, interactive services, content recommendation, and dynamic ad insertion.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the TV Digital AWS Sandbox
- Create fine grain roles and permissions
- Create and maintain a VPC to isolate work in-progress from production systems
- Design and build highly scalable, cloud-native solutions on the AWS platform
- Maintain and monitor production and pre-production environments in AWS
- Influence system and software architecture by contributing your expertise
- Implement industry best practices (AWS, Agile, DevOps, etc.)
- Apply your experience and insight to improve team processes, tools, and development culture
- Ensure timeliness and quality of team deliverables
Requirements:
- Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
- Strong working knowledge of Cloud Computing (VPC’s, Storage, VM’s, Compute, etc.)
- Coding experience with a modern programming language
- Eagerness to learn new things
- 4+ years of Cloud engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- Experience delivering video solutions
Desire:
- Full stack web application development experience
- Experience using agile methodologies for software development
- Experience with WordPress
- Experience delivering live steam videos to consumers
- Experience working within mixed engineering organizations including local, remote, and vendor resources
