In this role, you will be responsible for long-term support of a major biotechnology client.
To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of an B.S.
Degree along with 5 years of relevant work experience.
Automation Technical Lead Job Responsibilities: Lead and support of automation capital projects through design, specification, construction, startup, and validation of process systems and equipment.
Lead project design, implementation & qualification activities for process control applications utilizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), Data Historians, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA).
Development of detailed specification, engineering documents, SOP and operating standards.
Design and testing of newly installed and currently installed automation-based process equipment.
Support new product introductions or new technology introductions by performing engineering assessments, implementing automation system configuration changes and supporting engineering runs.
Automation Technical Job Requirements: B.S.
in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred Skilled in automation project management and delivery.
Understanding of project and documentation lifecycle management for GMP automation systems.
Understanding of engineering project management processes from initial conceptualization through project turnover to operations.
Five or more years combined experience with the following product platforms: Rockwell Automation Factory Talk & ControlLogix PLC Platform (Preferred), GE Intellution iFiX SCADA and Control Logix PLCs, Wonderware SCADA System, DeltaV Distributed Control System Ability to create, update and read electrical design packages including SDS, URS, IQ, OQ and VSR among other engineering and validation documentation.
Strong leadership, technical writing, and communication/presentation skills are required.
Working knowledge and experience with industry standards GDP, cGMP procedures, 21CFRp11, and engineering practices on pharmaceutical/biotech production processes, facilities, and equipment.
