*United States Citizenship Required**This is NOT a remote position*DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES:Be part of the All Points team supporting the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in developing the Europa Clipper (EC) spacecraft, specifically in the assembly, test, and launch operations (ATLO) phase.The ideal candidate will work independently and within a team environment, collaborating on tasks performed across a spectrum of disciplines and have excellent writing and oral presentation skills. Must be able to write test procedures, execute tests, and trouble shoot system related problems.Tasks may include but not limited to:Support flight software and hardware testingAnomaly investigationCollaborate and work with the System Testbed teamDefine, develop, and execute test procedures to be used on the flight systemMay be asked to support on-site testing at both JPL and the launch site.EDUCATION:Bachelor s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical), Physics, or related technical disciplineYEARS OF EXPERIENCE:7 – 15 YearsSKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:Demonstrated skills in test planning, test procedure development, problem reporting/investigation, coordination of test data analysis and test report generation.Experience with development of formal procedures and documentation relating to space flight hardwareDemonstrated skills in independently leading test activities and coordinating with other team players.Demonstrated skills in designing, implementing, and testing electronic hardware or instruments that are used within complex space systems.Demonstrated knowledge of processes that are used to verify/validate the design requirements of systems.Experience within a multidisciplinary system engineering or test teamAbility to collaborate successfully with other groups, sections, divisions, and organizations, both inside and outside JPL.Ability to react to frequent changes in plans and excel in a rapid pace concurrent engineering environment.Detailed knowledge of Laboratory policies and procedures, NASA policies and procedures, and government regulations across a range of applications.Understanding of the proper application of JPL design principles, flight project practices, hardware-handling constraints, and the JPL risk management practices.Availability for domestic travel.Availability to support extended launch site activitiesExperience on flight projects in requirements development, integration, and test and/or verification and validation.Previous JPL experience in performing V&V utilizing system level test bedsKnowledge of project ground data systems and mission operations teams.Willingness to obtain a security clearance if asked.SECURITY CLEARANCE:Must be eligible for Secret Clearance – not required to startPositions with All Points are Full-time, Direct, we offer a full benefit package, and competitive salaries.
