We are looking for an Android Engineer to join our talented, experienced, and growing mobile engineering team. You will have the opportunity to work with a modern Android tech stack (Kotlin, MotionLayout, Coroutines) and have impact on a product that reaches millions of users. This role will be based from our Venice, CA headquarters (Not a remote position). Interest in sports is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and take ownership of feature development
- Contribute to Android issue tracking and resolution
- Develop a strong understanding of Android fundamentals
- Communicate with teammates and other teams in a positive and empowering way
Requirements:
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Fully self sufficient in the Android platform and tools
- A strong understanding of Android app architecture and design patterns (MVVM, MVP)
- Experience with Kotlin, Espresso, Dagger 2, , Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, Android Architecture Components
- Experience with agile methodologies
