About The Role The Model Development team for Individual Retirement’s pricing area is looking for an actuarial model developer.

In this role, the model developer is expected to design/select algorithms, develop and fully test code, and write technical documentation for the variable and indexed annuity pricing model and related programs/systems.

Essential FunctionsDevelop robust modeling solutions to implement complex feature and assumptions into Risk Agility FM.Enhance modeling process, by proposing/adhering to sound modeling practice, and providing clear documentation of model changes.Partner with internal and external groups to ensure the validation of the pricing models.Research and review analytical tools for accuracyDiligently explore for efficiencies including internal unit cross-training to ensure coveragePursue actuarial exam progress, if applicableOther duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsBA/BS Math/Statistics/Computer Science or related areaStrong programming skills – VBA, Python.

Experience in other structured languages (C, C#, C++, vb.Net), a plus.

Two years of programming workProficient in Microsoft ExcelExperience in developing large scale systems and working in testing and production environmentsKnowledge of variable annuity, index annuity and living benefits products, a plusSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsWork well both independently and as part of a team What Our Employees Like Most About Working For AIGWe care about your professional development.
