Responsibilities: Research, identify, engage, and acquire new customers across industrial and high-tech manufacturing sectors this could include industrial, chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, energy, automotive Drive account and relationship management at all levels of the customer organization Maintain and achieve sales forecasts for assigned territory and accounts Develop, maintain, and manage strategic sales plans for each assigned account Measure and report result of territory and account sales performance Collaborate with company sales, product, and marketing leaders to recommend new product offerings; support marketing efforts to build and maintain our brand and establish our market position Engage with strategic partners as appropriate to leverage joint efforts for customer success Provide executive management and marketing leaders with account updates, accurately predicting deals for rolling forecasts Challenge customers’ current way of doing business, suggest new solutions, and communicate value propositions to drive positive outcomes Requirements: 7 years of successful direct sales experience selling to Fortune 500 industrial companies Demonstrated knowledge of Reliability and Maintenance Engineering for manufacturing clients and industry dynamics and nomenclature MUST have a Start-up, hunter mentality this role is focused on acquiring new accounts in North America and will work within the new AI Industrial Products Business Division MUST have Demonstrated experience selling software solutions which utilize artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and Digital Transformation concepts to an industrial manufacturing audience Demonstrated experience negotiating enterprise-level software agreements, and intimate familiarity with key legal terms and positions Experience creating data-driven programs to drive company strategy at assigned accounts A team player with exemplary written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management systems to manage projects and opportunities, contact information, and forecasts Ability to communicate and collaborate across the organization Undergraduate degree in Engineering or a related field Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
