Coordinates, prepares and performs actuarial analyses required to develop new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and/or determine financial strength. Performs complex work assignments and problem resolution under limited supervision.
SKILLS:
* Assist in the development and maintenance of analytical tools and models using Microsoft Excel, VBA, SQL, R and other relevant programs.
* Administer, design, secure, and maintain databases, including documentation for the actuarial and analytics areas
* Collect and refine appropriate data for analysis and ensure its reasonableness and accuracy.
* Assist in development of models to support business needs.
* Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports for other departments and senior management, as well as oversee programming solutions.
* Interface with IT department and developers to understand the company?s databases and data creation and flow within the organization.
* Document and communicate function of analytical tools and systems after participating in design and build.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Generally 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience
* Experience with Microsoft Excel, VBA, SQL, R and other relevant programs.
* Bachelor’s Degree
