Description:Electronics Test Technician has responsibility for conducting board, sub-assembly, and final assembly testing, along with providing production, service and engineering support functions.
Duties will include, but not be limited to the following job tasks:Provides support for Companys production, repair and engineering goals.Support production by fully testing PCBAs, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.Performs in-process and final testing on product(s).Conduct testing according to established procedures and within specified parameters.Accurately document all required test values for each unit tested.Verify that values are within specifications, or tag and isolate any nonconforming product.Troubleshoot non conforming product and employ appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action.Meet deadlines for all production schedule testing of PCBAs, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.Adjust to changing demands of production and special projects.Keep Quality Manager apprised of any quality concerns or potential design shortfalls discovered during testing.Aid in resolving quality issues of assembly, tolerances, and material-related issues including in-house and supplier quality issues.Provide support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques.Aid Service and Engineering Departments as needed.Operate hand tools and shop equipment as directed or as necessary.
