We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to support our team at our distribution center in Rocklin, CA.Job responsibilities include:Lead, support and encourage Ace Values: Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility and Teamwork.Enforce safety rules and regulations.Responsible for the day-to-day execution of the strategic vision of the company for their work area.Plan work assignments and manage resources to meet operational needs.Monitor employees and the work process to ensure proper completion according to company standards.Oversee a designated work area and support the team’s success through observations and coaching.Enforce housekeeping standards.Resolve employee problems and collaborate with employees, peers, and other stakeholders to facilitate problem resolution.Collect team feedback and develop ways to drive efficiency through the team.Research and resolve inventory issues.Evaluate employee performance and prepare performance appraisals.Ensure team members have the tools and resources necessary to focus on safety, cleanliness, and quality while maintaining a high level of production.Counsel employees in work-related activities, personal growth, and development.Recommend and implement measure to improve processes, performance, methods or customer service.Handling phone calls as well as face to face interactions with vendors, outside drivers, Ace drivers, and retailers.Monitor processes to ensure the highest quality and most efficient deliveries to Ace retailers.Validate payroll for the team.Conduct interviews and select candidate who fit well with company objectives.Other duties as assigned.Job qualifications include :Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.Minimum 2 years of experience, 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.Basic to intermediate knowledge of Word, Outlook and ExcelBachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.Come serve a purpose and take pride in enabling independent stores owners to compete and grow as they execute our ultimate goal; being Helpful within their communities.We want to hear from youWhen most people think of career opportunities with Ace Hardware, they often think of the helpful cashiers and sales associates at their local store.
