The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Senior Server Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by: Creating enterprise grade software for the healthcare industry that will be used by physicians all over the world Apply your experience with Spring framework and Spring Boot to build out the next generation of clinical documentation improvement products Be part of a dynamic agile team that prides itself in developing products that consistently earn top praise from physicians Grow your AWS knowledge and development experience since we use cutting edge tech stack Build & maintain API’s that will be highly responsive, scalable and stable when accessed by thousands of doctors Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of ten (10) years experience in software development in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement Four (4) years experience with development in Java or similar object-oriented language Led an agile team of at least 4 engineers; Able to plan, architect, develop and delegate work Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Exposure to development on AWS Proficient in applying Object Oriented Programming Practices Familiarity with ORM (Hibernate) Proficiency in debugging to analyze issues throughout application lifecycle Good understanding of concurrency and multithreading.
