The US Human Resources (“HR”) Manager is a crucial role and oversees the US HR team to create a great working environment and culture, ensuring we have talented people who are engaged and motivated to deliver outstanding results for our customers.

Holistically, the role is responsible for the end-to-end employee journey and will involve a mix of people skills such as business partnering, talent acquisition and talent development.

The US HR Manager is responsible for aligning business objectives with people solutions for all HR functions and programs in the United States, including, but not limited to, recruitment & retention, compensation, payroll administration, employee training & development, performance management, HR legal compliance, employee benefits, and employee relations.

The US HR Manager serves as a valuable business partner for the local management team, providing day-to-day counseling and advice as well as strategic guidance and direction.

Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement a people experience strategy, action plan and roadmap with associated measurement that supports the culture of IONOS consistent with the overall business plan and the initiatives of the global HR Team.

Creatively enhance employee brand, both internally and externally, so the business is seen as an employer of choice and a great place to work.

Develop mechanisms to evaluate the impact and success of the people strategy.

Create and monitor all relevant employee engagement KPIs, identify changes and trends and define a clear and precise roadmap with the goal to improve the overall eNPS and retention.

Manage the US HR team, which is responsible for supporting employees at multiple locations in the US, some of which report to international managers.

Provide leadership on people related issues, policies, programs and benefits for the US.

Provide HR support and consultation across the business on the most complex issues, supporting staff and managers in all related areas: recruitment, performance management, compensation and rewards, staff relations, and people development.

Provide advice and guidance to the leadership team and executive team on strategic people management, performance and development issues.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Drive the talent management and succession planning process.

Provide management information and reports on all aspects of HR as required.

Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications The US HR Manager will bring a range of experiences, ideally in leadership, strategic HR projects and talent acquisition and retention.

Relevant Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of experience and ability to perform the responsibilities listed above.

Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, such as compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity equity & inclusion, benefits, performance management, and federal, state & local employment laws.

Experience guiding, leading and developing a team.

Strong analytical skills, a data driven mindset and the interest in taking on analytical challenges by diving deeply into our HR reports.

Strong track record on talent management approaches and ability to demonstrate effectiveness and impact in this regard.

Proven experience in delivering people strategies, implementing action plans and knowledge of current advances in people and culture changes.

Experience with corporate culture and employee retention as well as relevant KPIs.

Preferred Skills Experience with ADP and/or SAP.

Advanced degree (JD, MBA, etc.) or Master’s degree in Human Resource management.

PHR or SPHR and/or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.

Prior experience working in a high volume call center environment.

Prior experience working in the information technology or web hosting fields.

Prior experience working for an international company with employees servicing customers throughout the world.
