Momentum is hiring a Talent Specialist/Recruiter.

This position will work directly with Directors and Hiring Managers throughout Momentum.

The Talent Specialist/Recruiter will be responsible for attracting and screening applicants, creating job postings, post to online job boards, attending job fairs, posting flyers, and building candidate pipelines through local schools and organizations.

The Talent Specialist/Recruiter provides a positive candidate experience, supports hiring managers’ recruiting needs, and coordinates the contingent offer process.Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Benefits: We offer competitive starting salaries and benefits to full-time staff: health, dental, vision, and life insurance, life assistance program, flexible spending account (FSA), paid holidays, vacation benefits, paid sick leave, paid bereavement leave, credit union benefits and discounts, referral bonus plan, and retirement plan.Essential Duties:* Promotes a friendly, comfortable, and safe environment* Respects and promotes the right of individuals * Posts current job openings to website and online job boards through Applicant Tracking System (ATS); posts current job openings to additional job boards as needed, including Craigslist and college/university job boards.* Screens applicant resumes to find qualified applicants; verifies qualificationsand appropriate credentials.* Conducts phone interviews and schedules on-site interviews.* Verifies candidate employment applications for completion and accuracy.* Coordinates the contingent offer process, including: extending verbal and formal written contingent offers; sending candidates for required post offer, pre-employment screenings; and completing internalreference checking process.* Collaborates with hiring managers to achieve recruiting objectives.* Tracks and reports open and filled positions.* Networks with local colleges, vocational schools, and community organizations to build candidate pipeline.* Researches and attends local job fairs to attract candidates.Talent Specialist Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in a related field; preferred * Minimum of two (2) years of full circle recruiting; preferred * Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; preferred * Read, write, and communicate in English* Excellent communication skills* Customer Service experience; preferred* Bilingual English/Spanish; preferred* Abilityto maintain confidentiality* Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States* Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California; requiredWith 40 programs and service sites spanning several counties, Momentum is the largest nonprofit provider of direct support to individuals with disabilities in Southern California.Momentum is an equal opportunity employer and is required to comply with equal opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.
